Bandit The Panther called it quits in 2014, but during that time I kept writing super miserable songs about how much the voices in my head hate me. They were written in the space of a few months during a band breakup and a relationship breakup, and are about floundering in a kind of a personal inertia, trying to work out what the hell to do next.

In March 2015 I decamped to my buddy Dan's on the Isle of Wight and we recorded some tracks DIY style, with one mic and a copy of Audacity, like we used to in the early Bandit days. From those sessions I put together an EP of songs, 'Osbourne Heights', released in December 2016 on Aaahh! Real Records.

Dan is the greatest dude to hang out and make music with, and I think he did a great job capturing these songs, so in 2020 in the midst of a lockdown I decided to revist the EP and release the other four songs we recorded but didn't put on the EP.
